Recently, the 10MW/20MWh electrochemical energy storage system of the Yampo Photovoltaic Power Station of Three Gorges Energy Yunnan Binchuan has been successfully grid-connected and put into operation. The total installed capacity of the Yampo project is 100MW, and the first batch of units was grid-connected on December 22, 2022 and achieved production on March 31 this year. The energy storage system put into operation this time is the energy storage project built with Yampo photovoltaic power station. It adopts modular design and container integration layout, which is composed of 4 2.5MW/5MWh energy storage units. Each energy storage unit has a power of 2.5MW and an energy of 5MWh.
