SHANGHAI, Sep 25 (SMM) –For the week ending September 21, electrolyte prices dipped slightly. Lithium carbonate's consistent price drop and downstream reductions caused the prices of core raw material, LiPF6, to fall. Prices for solvents and additives stayed largely constant, though EMC solvent prices declined a bit. Supply-wise, manufacturers produced as per orders, aiming to curtail production to maintain prices, yet overall supply was ample. Demand from battery cells weakened. The decline in electrolyte prices is likely to persist in the near future.
