Spot Premiums In Tianjin Zinc Market Stabilised

SHANGHAI, Sep 22 (SMM) - In Tianjin, #0 zinc ingot was mostly traded at 22140~22520 yuan/mt, Zijin zinc 22260~22560 yuan/mt, and Huludao zinc 27030 yuan/mt. In terms of premium/discount, #0 zinc was quoted with premiums of 390~480 yuan/mt over SHFE 2310 contract, Zijin zinc 510 yuan/mt, and 210 yuan/mt over Shanghai prices.

As of noon of September 22, spot premiums of ordinary brand Chihong stood at 420~480 yuan/mt over SHFE 2310 zinc contract, Bailing 460 yuan/mt, Xikuang and Qinxin zinc 390 yuan/mt, Kazakhstan zinc 170 yuan/mt (delivery in warehouse), and high-priced brand Zijin 510 yuan/mt.

Downstream companies just purchased as required, and the market premiums were basically the same as yesterday. The overall trading was quiet. #1 zinc ingot prices fluctuated between 21890~22210 yuan/mt today.
