The National Energy Administration released the national power industry statistics for January to August on September 19th. By the end of August, the total installed capacity of power generation in China was about 2.76 billion kilowatts, an increase of 11.9% year-on-year. Among them, the installed capacity of solar power generation was about 0.51 billion kilowatts, an increase of 44.4% year-on-year; the installed capacity of wind power generation was about 0.4 billion kilowatts, an increase of 14.8% year-on-year.

The newly installed photovoltaic capacity in January-August was 113.16GW. According to the previous data, the newly installed photovoltaic capacity in January-July was 97.16GW, indicating that the newly installed photovoltaic capacity in August was 16GW.
