Recently, China Electric Power Construction has signed orders for overseas photovoltaic projects with a total capacity of more than 700MW from two niche markets: Laos and Colombia. It is reported that the 609MW onshore photovoltaic project in Sekong Province, Laos, is contracted by the joint venture EPC formed by China Electric Power Construction International Company and Electric Power Construction Laos Company, including design, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, etc., as well as the line from the field side substation to the Mengsong substation. The annual electricity generation of the project is about 820 million kWh, and the carbon emissions can be reduced by about one million tons after the project is put into operation.
The Escober project is a photovoltaic project that Serbica Company will invest and develop in 2023, which is an important symbol to help Colombia's new energy transformation. This project is based on the good performance of China Electric Power Construction's Parma photovoltaic and Andalusia photovoltaic projects, and the two sides have joined hands again.
