The average operating rate of zinc oxide enterprises was 62.7% last week, up 1.3 percentage points from the previous week.

The average operating rate of zinc oxide enterprises was 62.7% last week, up 1.3 percentage points from the previous week. Large-scale plants purchased raw materials in case of further zinc price gains. In terms of orders, the rise in auxiliary material prices following rapid gains in zinc prices drove zinc oxide plants to adjust processing fees. Downstream companies restocked for National Day holidays in case of further price gains. Given the increase in sodium carbonate prices, the average operating rate at zinc oxide plants should stay at the current level this week.
