National Mine Safety Administration: Research and issue “Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the High-Quality Development of Digital and Intelligent Mines”

Sun Qingguo, director of the Safety Basics Department of the National Mine Safety Administration, said at the press conference that the overall level of intelligent construction of mines in China is not high. Besides, there are still problems such as insufficient understanding of some regions and some enterprises, imbalance in construction progress, inadequate standards and regulations, and deficient adaptability of some technical equipment. The Administration will improve regulations and standards, study and issue the “Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the High-Quality Development of Digital and Intelligent Mines” focusing on solving problems such as unbalanced and inadequate development. We will actively guide areas with severe disasters and high altitudes to accelerate the construction of intelligent mines by promoting harmless and less harmful mining in mines with severe disasters and conducting remote operations in high-altitude mining areas.
