As of September 15, port inventories of nickel ore in China stood at 7.979 million wmt, up 44,000 wmt WoW. The total Ni content was 62,660 mt. The port inventory across seven major Chinese ports totaled 3.82 million wmt, 44,000 wmt higher than the previous week. It is still in a peak period of nickel ore shipments, with low-grade nickel ore being the main contributor to stockpiles.
