The meeting pointed out that Foshan’s real estate sector has entered a critical period of transformation towards a broad development prospect. The local government will continue to adhere to the principle of “houses are for living, not for speculative investment” to support rigid needs and improve reasonable housing needs. In addition, the government should optimize the overall plan in accordance with relevant measures recently introduced by the central government and Guangdong province, implement precise measures based do actual conditions, so as to support enterprises solve their problems and effectively promote the stable and healthy development of the real estate market. For example, they need to develop high-quality residential products customized for different customers in need of mid-end, high-end, and mass-demand residential buildings.
