National Bureau Of Statistics: National Fixed Asset Investment Increased By 3.2% YoY In The First Eight Months This Year

Data from the National Bureau of Statistics show that from January to August, the national fixed asset investment (excluding rural households) was 32,704.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.2% (calculated on a comparable basis). Among them, manufacturing investment increased by 5.9%, and the growth rate rose by 0.2 percentage points compared to the first seven years in 2023. From a month-on-month perspective, fixed asset investment (excluding farmers) increased by 0.26% in August. From January to August, private fixed asset investment was 16,947.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 0.7%.
