SMM Shanghai and other #1 lead markets noon comment: Shanghai lead remains strong, downstream companies inquiry slightly more but transaction improvement limited. On September 12th, SMM reported that the price of Chihong lead in Shanghai market was 17335 yuan/ton, flat to Shanghai lead 2309 contract; the price of Jinjin and Jiangtong lead in Jiangsu and Zhejiang market was 17085-17335 yuan/ton, discount to Shanghai lead 2309 contract by 30-0 yuan/ton, or flat to Shanghai lead 2310 contract. Shanghai lead remains strong, holders follow the price and deliver goods, quotation rises and discount remains the same as yesterday, meanwhile downstream companies inquiry slightly more but transaction improvement limited.
