According to data released by the General Administration of Customs on September 7, China imported 44.333 million mt of coal in August 2023, an increase of 14.877 million mt YoY, or 50.51%, compared with 29.456 million mt last year.

According to data released by the General Administration of Customs on September 7, China imported 44.333 million mt of coal in August 2023, an increase of 14.877 million mt YoY, or 50.51%, compared with 29.456 million mt last year. Import volume in August increased by 5.073 million mt from 39.26 million mt in July, an increase of 12.92%.
