ICBC Issued An Announcement On The Interest Rate Adjustment For Existing First-Home Personal Mortgages

ICBC issued an announcement on the interest rate adjustment for existing first-home personal housing loans, saying that from September 25, 2023, it will make negotiations with customers who conducted personal housing loans about the adjustments to the mortgage rate. For personal housing loans that meet all of the following conditions, the existing housing loan interest rates can be adjusted. The loan issuance time or the contract signing time is before August 31, 2023 (inclusive); commercial personal housing loans that are used to purchase residential homes, including ordinary purely commercial personal housing loans and commercial personal housing loans in provident fund portfolio loans; home buyer’s first personal housing loan.
