This morning, an aluminum factory in São Paulo, Brazil, exploded, resulting in two deaths and at least twelve injuries. São Paulo Governor Tássio Dévilla posted on social media: "Unfortunately, an explosion occurred at a metallurgical plant in Cubatão this morning, September 1st, with two confirmed deaths and twelve rescued injured, who are currently receiving treatment at a state medical center." The explosion occurred at an aluminum smelter in Cubatão, 60 kilometers from São Paulo, the capital of São Paulo. The cause of the explosion is unknown.
