This year, according to the plan, 53,000 old residential areas in cities and towns will be rebuilt nationwide. According to the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, from January to July, the renovation of 46,600 old urban areas in China has been put into construction, benefiting 7.95 million residents. The overall operating rate reached 87.9%. Among them, renovation projects in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guizhou, Hunan, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Shanghai, Jiangxi, and Hubei have all started construction.
