SHANGHAI, Aug 16 (SMM) –
According to SMM statistics, pig iron production reduction was 948,200 mt this week (August 12 to August 18), triggered by maintenance of blast furnace (BF), down 95,200 mt WoW, and will be 945,200 mt next week (August 19-August 25) for the same reason, down 3,000 mt on a weekly basis.
In terms of construction materials, the maintenance-generated construction material production loss was 635,000 mt this week, down 25,600 mt WoW, and will be 624,500 mt next week, a dip of 10,500 mt WoW.
In terms of HRC, the maintenance-induced HRC production reduction was 82,500 mt this week, up 2,000 mt WoW, and will be 136,500 mt next week, up 54,000 mt WoW.
In terms of cold rolling/galvanizing, the maintenance-induced cold rolling/galvanizing production reduction was 12,000 mt this week, up 12,000 mt WoW, and will be 28,000 mt next week, up 16,000 mt WoW.
