National Bureau of Statistics: Power generation in July is 846.2 billion Kwh, a year-on-year increase of 3.6%

On August 15, data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed that in July, power generation was 846.2 billion Kwh, a year-on-year increase of 3.6%, and the growth rate was 0.8-percentage-points faster than that in June, with an average daily power generation of 27.30 billion Kwh.

On August 15, data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed that in July, power generation was 846.2 billion Kwh, a year-on-year increase of 3.6%, and the growth rate was 0.8-percentage-points faster than that in June, with an average daily power generation of 27.30 billion Kwh. From January to July, the power generation was 5,013 billion Kwh, a year-on-year increase of 3.8%. In terms of varieties, in July, the growth rate of thermal power, nuclear power, and solar power generation fell, the decline rate of hydropower narrowed, and the growth rate of wind power turned from negative to positive. Among them, thermal power increased by 7.2% YoY, and the growth rate down 7.0 percentage points MoM; hydropower decreased by 17.5%, and the decline rate down 16.4 percentage points MoM; nuclear power increased by 2.9%, and the growth rate down 10.9 percentage points MoM; wind power increased 25.0%, an MoM decrease of 1.8%; solar power generation increased by 6.4%, and the growth rate was 2.4 percentage points slower than that in June.
