LME lead prices fell for three consecutive days

Lithium carbonate prices kept dropping.

Overnight, LME lead opened at $2166.5/mt. Dragged down by the LME lead inventory accumulation, LME lead prices inched lower, falling to as low as $2145/mt. At last, the contract closed at $2151.5/mt, down 0.49%.

LME copper prices opened at $8381.5/mt and closed at $8451/mt in overnight trading, a gain of 0.91%, with the low-end of $8370.5/mt and the high-end of $8484/mt. Trading volume was 23,000 lots, and open interest stood at 267,000 lots. The most active SHFE 2401 copper contract prices opened at 67890 yuan/mt and finished at 68280 yuan/mt overnight, up 0.71%, with the low-end of 67890 yuan/mt and the high-end of 68390 yuan/mt. Trading volume was 53,000 lots and open interest stood at 165,000 lots.

LME zinc prices opened at $2488/mt last evening and closed down $20.5/mt or 0.82% at $2466.5/mt. Trading volume decreased to 5757 lots, and open interest increased by 4496 lots to 201,000 lots.  LME zinc inventory remained flat. The market is waiting for more data guidance.

HRC futures moved upwards today, closing up 1.82% at 3,982 yuan/mt.

LME copper prices opened at $8402.5/mt and closed with a drop of 0.37% at $8437/mt last evening, with the low-end of $8380/mt and the high-end of $8467.5/mt.
