Chongqing issued the Notice on Further Optimizing the Use of Housing Provident Funds on August 11.

Chongqing issued the Notice on Further Optimizing the Use of Housing Provident Funds on August 11. Among them, it is proposed to optimize the identification standard for the number of housing units for housing provident fund replacement loans. If depositor families without housing provident fund personal housing loan records have only one outstanding commercial personal housing loan and only one house in our city, they can apply to replace the outstanding commercial personal housing loan of the house with a housing provident fund loan. We will unify the identification standards for the number of newly purchased housing units. If depositor families use the housing provident fund loan to purchase a new house in Chongqing, it is necessary to check their housing provident fund loan records and the number of housing units they owned in the district (autonomous county) where the housing to be purchased is located.

Taseko Mines' Florence Copper project in Arizona has successfully produced its first copper cathodes, marking the first new copper production from a greenfield facility in the U.S. since 2008. The project employs a globally pioneering in-situ copper recovery technology and is expected to produce 85 million pounds of LME Grade A copper annually, making it the third-largest copper producer in the country. All copper produced will be supplied to the U.S. domestic market, supporting supply chain security for key sectors such as automotive, semiconductors, and defense.
