The Saudi government recently announced that USB Type-C will be the only charging interface for electronic devices such as mobile phones and tablets from 2025.
It is estimated that this move will help Saudi Arabia reduce the consumption of more than 2.2 million chargers and other equipment every year, and reduce about 15 tons of electronic waste.
