SHANGHAI, Aug 8 (SMM) –
Global coal shipments added 7.4% WoW to 30.228 million mt last week. Among them, the total output of the seven major ports was 13.899 million mt, an increase of 8.9% WoW, and the total output of Newcastle Port in Australia was up 17.4% WoW at 3.158 million mt, accounting for 10% of the total output. Global thermal coal shipments rose 8.3% week-on-week to 16.138 million mt. Global coking coal shipments hiked by 9.2% week-on-week to 13.048 million mt last week.
