SMM reported: Yuguang Jinqian's 200-tonne bismuth ingot bidding project was successfully concluded. According to SMM, Yuguang Jinqian recently conducted an open bidding sale for its 200-tonne bismuth ingot, and finally succeeded in the transaction. According to insider information, the actual final transaction price was around 56,500 yuan/ton. Many market participants said that although the quantity of Yuguang's 200-tonne bismuth ingot was not huge, the final transaction price of 56,500 yuan/ton was indeed very high, which will undoubtedly strengthen the market's confidence in bismuth prices. After all, the current market bismuth ingot transactions are mainly single car or even single orders. Recently, some market participants have reported that the transaction price of bulk goods has occasionally appeared around 59,000 yuan/ton or even close to 60,000 yuan/ton. Although these information have not been confirmed and have not become the mainstream price, the market is currently bullish sentiment gradually thickening.

[Cost Support Lifts Magnesium Ingot Quotations; Weak Demand in Domestic and Overseas Markets May Keep Prices Consolidating] Mainstream quotations for magnesium ingot in Fugu stand at 16,050-16,150 yuan/mt, with FOB prices at $2,280-2,380/mt. Domestic producers are actively holding prices firm on cost support, but downstream purchases remain cautious and high-price deals are hard to close. The overseas market is rising passively in tandem with China without any substantial improvement in ex-China demand. Magnesium prices are likely to consolidate within a range in the short term.
