Shanghai: Pure electric vehicles will account for more than 50% of newly purchased vehicles by individuals by 2025

Shanghai issued the “Shanghai Clean Air Action Plan (2023-2025) ” and proposed that by 2025, the total application volume of fuel cell vehicles will exceed 10,000, and pure electric vehicles will account for more than 50% of newly purchased vehicles by individuals. By the end of 2025, all operational diesel trucks with national III emission standards will be phased out. And the relative departments are studying the policy of early scrapping of diesel trucks with national IV emission standards.
