On June 18, lithium carbonate futures fell 3.63% to 92,800 yuan/ton (~12,782.37 USD/ton). The battery-grade index dropped to 97,064 yuan/ton (~13,369.70 USD/ton).

On May 30, lithium carbonate futures rose 1.05% to 104,900 yuan/ton (~14,468.97 USD/ton). The battery-grade index fell to 105,797 yuan/ton (~14,592.69 USD/ton).

On May 14, lithium carbonate futures fell 2.05% to 105,000 yuan/ton (~14,502.76 USD/ton). The battery-grade index dropped to 109,232 yuan/ton (~15,087.29 USD/ton).

On May 8, lithium carbonate futures dropped 1.62% to 112,050 yuan/ton (~15,519.39 USD/ton). The battery-grade index stood at 111,609 yuan/ton (~15,458.31 USD/ton).

On March 21st, lithium carbonate futures rose by 1.34% to 117,350 yuan/ton, while spot prices remained stable at 112,550 yuan/ton amidst selective purchasing behavior.

In December 2023, China's import volume of lithium spodumene concentrate was approximately 435,668 metric tons, an increase of 15.1% compared to the previous month and a 41% increase year-on-year. The average import price was around $1,735.

On January 29, SMM understood that as the order signing in the February polysilicon market continued, a domestic polysilicon company signed a large-quantity order for February at the end of last Friday. The actual order price rose to 72 yuan/kg. The actual contract price of polysilicon this month rose.
