According to Carisyou, a Korean automotive data research institute, the number of imported commercial vehicles (including buses, trucks, vans, special vehicles, etc.) registered and registered from January to June this year was 4,563, of which 1,451 were from China. In the first half of this year, one third of the imported commercial vehicles sold were from China. In contrast, the number of Chinese-made passenger cars registered during the same period was zero. BYD applied for six trademark rights in Korea last year, including the Sea Lion, Sea Lion and SUV model Atto3. If successful, it is expected to bring new changes to the electric vehicle market in Korea, which is dominated by Hyundai and Kia.
