Global Manufacturing PMI in June Fell Further, Points to Intensified Downward Pressure

The China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing announced the global manufacturing purchasing managers' index for June on July 7.

SHANGHAI, Jul 6 (SMM) –  The China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing announced the global manufacturing purchasing managers' index for June on July 7.

In June, the global manufacturing PMI was 47.8%, a decrease of 0.5 percentage point from the previous month, falling for four consecutive months.

The global manufacturing PMI has been below 50% for nine consecutive months, hitting a new low since June 2020. The downward trend of the global manufacturing industry has intensified, and the road to recovery still faces greater challenges.
