SMM Survey Of Wire And Cable Industry Last Week

The orders of cable companies did not improve noticeably last week. The downstream buyers were cautious about placing orders due to strong bearishness.

Meanwhile, mid-year settlement prompted wire and cable plants to control order taking and production. Orders from automobile industry have increased rapidly. This, combined with concentrated delivery to State Grid in July, will improve orders at wire and cable plants this week.
