The operating rates of copper foil enterprises stood at 77.92% in May, up 8.96 percentage points month on month but down 12.24 percentage points year on year. The average operating rate of large, medium-scale and small enterprises stood at 73.86%, 87.52% and 67.51%, respectively.
The average operating rate of electronic circuit copper foil and lithium battery copper foil enterprises stood at 79.57% and 76.84% respectively, up 6.36 percentage points and 10.67 percentage points MoM respectively.
The average operating rate across copper foil producers is expected to come in at 84.01% in June, up 6.08 percentage points on the month but down 10.43 percentage points on the year. (Notes: SMM surveyed 22 producers with a combined capacity of 1.06 million mt/year.)
