Boliden: Earnings Expected To Fall In The Second Quarter, Ronneskar Copper-Lead-Zinc Smelter Shut Down

Swedish miner Boliden expects its earnings to decline in the second quarter, and its recent production is also facing many challenges.

It will suspend production at Europe's largest Irish zinc mine due to "unsustainable financial losses". The Ronnskar smelter under its subsidiary has suspended production due to a fire at night and damage to the plant. It will be notified when it will resume production.
