Thanks to the ramp-up of new production lines at Inner Mongolia Daquan Energy and Ningxia Runyang Silicon Material Technology, polysilicon production schedules are expected to grow to 123,000 mt.

The price of polysilicon "collapsed” last week. The lowest price of dense polysilicon at mainstream manufacturers fell to 80 yuan/kg. Inventory at Inner Mongolia Daquan Energy and Tongwei exceeded 30,000 mt. The market prices were chaotic, and the bargaining cycle was further shortened. As silicon wafer plants pushed for lower prices, price of polysilicon continued to fall.
