China Rebar Stocks Down 4.5% on Week

SHANGHAI, Jun 1 (SMM) – The total inventory of rebar across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 7.7 million mt as of Thursday June 1, down 365,500 mt or 4.5% from a week ago, and down 30.7% from the same period last year.

The inventory across social warehouses was 5.32 million mt, down 304,700 mt or 5.42% on the week, and a drop of 28.1% on the year.

The in-plant inventory stood at 2.37 million mt, down 60,900 mt or 2.5% on the week, and down 36% on the year.
