The National Energy Administration (NEA) has organised the drafting of the Notice on Further Regulating Matters Relating to the Management of Electricity Business Permits for Renewable Energy Power Projects (Draft for Comments). Among them, it is proposed to exempt some decentralised wind power projects from the electricity business license. On the basis of the existing licensing exemption policy, decentralised wind power projects that are connected to power grids with voltage levels of 35kV and below nationwide will be included in the scope of licensing exemption and will no longer be required to obtain an electricity business license.
