US Imported 2.614 Million Short Mt of Steel in March

According to Preliminary Data Released by the US Census Bureau, The UNITED States Imported 2.614 Million Shor. t mt of Steel in March 2023, an increase of 14.2% compared with the final value in february, and the highest since July 2022.

In March, imports of semi-finished steel products in the United States grew by 31.2% month-on-month to 706,000 short mt, and imports of finished steel products increased by 9.0% month-on-month to 1.906 million short mt.
