Suzhou Raises the Housing Provident Fund Loan

Suzhou City Housing Provident Fund Management Center adjusted the housing provident fund loan policy in Suzhou. Staff said that according to the notice received yesterday (May 4), if the employee housing provident fund is paid in Suzhou City (excluding the Industrial Park), the current first-time housing provident fund loan shall not exceed 15 times the account balance (originally 10 times). But the upper limit of the loan remains unchanged (600,000 yuan for individuals and 900,000 yuan for families with dual-career couples). The second housing provident fund loan is calculated at 10 times the provident fund balance (originally 6 times), and the upper limit also remains unchanged (the maximum for individuals is 300,000 yuan, and the maximum for families is 500,000 yuan). The staff also stated that for employees who are raising two minor children and above (at least one of whom is a minor), if they use the housing provident fund loan to purchase their first set of housing in Suzhou, the loan can be increased by 30%.
