Crude Steel Output in March Increased 6.9% Year-on-Year

The World Iron and Steel Association released the data on the crude steel output of various countries in March 2023. It is shown that China's crude steel output was 95.73 million mt, a year-on-year increase of 6.9%; India's output was 11.4 million mt, a year-on-year increase of 2.7%; Japan's output was 7.5 million mt, a year-on-year decrease of 5.9%; the output in the United States was 6.7 million mt, a year-on-year decrease of 2.1%; Russia's output was estimated to be 6.6 million mt, a year-on-year increase of 0.4%.
