SMM Weekly Electrolyte Market Review and Forecast 

SHANGHAI, May 4 (SMM) – Electrolyte prices were unchanged last week. The prices of lithium hexafluorophosphate (LiPF6) rallied slightly, and some LiPF6 enterprises temporarily suspended quotations. Following output cuts by LiPF6 enterprises, the inventory of both upstream and downstream enterprises is currently at a relatively low level. As Labour Day holiday was approaching, some electrolyte companies stocked up LiPF6 slightly. The prices of solvents and additives (VC and FEC ) were temporarily stable. It is expected that LiPF6 prices will extend its recent rebound, which may shore up electrolyte prices.
