On April 23, the Department of Natural Resources of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region issued an announcement announcing that Xinjiang Zhite New Materials Co. would be disqualified from bidding for the Washixia South Lithium Mine and would be punished jointly.

The company is prohibited from participating in the national mining rights transfer transactions within 3 years.

The company won the bid for Washixianan Lithium Mine but failed to make the payment when it was due.
