SHANGHAI, Apr 19 (SMM) – Coke market: Despite the third round of coke price cuts, coking plants continued to increase their production amid decent profits. Poor sales caused coking plants’ inventory to build up further. Poor end demand, thin profits and sufficient inventory on hand discouraged steel mills from buying coke. Weakening cost support and growing inventory will weigh on coke prices in the short term.
