SHANGHAI, Apr 18 (SMM) – Tianjin: The refined zinc inventory fell from 74,000 mt in early March to 70,200 mt at the end of the month.

SHANGHAI, Apr 18 (SMM) – Tianjin: The refined zinc inventory fell from 74,000 mt in early March to 70,200 mt at the end of the month. The decline was small due to high output of zinc smelters.

The production of galvanising enterprises in north China was affected by environmental protection-induced production restrictions, hurting refined zinc consumption. Following previous stocking activity, the purchases by galvanising enterprises declined.
