






SHANGHAI, Apr 11 (SMM) - The prices of lanthanum oxide and cerium oxide dropped significantly last week. The mainstream transaction prices of 3N low-purity lanthanum oxide fell 12.7% to 5,300-5,700 yuan/mt, and the prices of cerium oxide of the same specification declined 12.3% to 5,500-5,900 yuan/mt.
The mainstream prices of alloy-grade lanthanum-cerium metal stabilised at 19,500-20,500 yuan/mt. The prices of lanthanum metal stabilised at 24,000-26,000 yuan/mt and those of cerium metal fell slightly to 25,000-27,000 yuan/mt last week. Currently, the prices of lanthanum are likely to decline due to the supply surplus.
