SHANGHAI, Apr 10 (SMM) - SMM statistics showed that the global iron ore shipments totalled 30.28 million mt in the week ending April 7, a decrease of 2.4% week-on-week.
The four major mining companies shipped a combined 20.98 million mt of iron ore last week, an increase of 258,000 mt from a week earlier.
Iron ore arrivals at Chinese ports fell 22.09% on a weekly basis to 19.55 million mt last week.
