SHANGHAI, Apr 10 (SMM) – The prices of dysprosium and terbium products went down last week following a rally in the previous week. After restocking by large groups came to an end, the prices of dysprosium and terbium products pulled back due to sluggish demand.
According to SMM survey, the orders of downstream magnetic material enterprises remained poor. Some downstream enterprises stood on the sidelines amid persistently slack demand. As a result, the rebound of rare earth prices failed to sustain.
SMM predicts that rare earth prices will hover at lows in the short term.
