Teck: QB2 Copper Mine In Northern Chile Put into Production, Copper Output Plans for 2024-2026 Issued

Teck Resources Co. recently announced the commissioning of the second phase of its Quebrada Blanca copper mine project. When fully operational, QB2 will double Tektronix's copper production. As one of the largest undeveloped copper resources in the world, QB2's initial mining life is 27 years. The project is targeting an annual copper production of 285,000-315,000 mt in 2024-2026. Teck maintains the output guidelines of copper in 2023 unchanged.
