The turmoil in the lithium battery industry chain has intensified.
On April 4, the price of domestic battery-grade lithium carbonate fell to 219,000 yuan/mt, a drop of more than 60% from the high of 567,500 yuan/mt in November 2022.
It was reported that half of the enterprises in Yichun that extract lithium from lepidolite have stopped production.
A reporter from www.yicai.com interviewed Yongxing Materials and Jiangte Electric. A staff of Yongxing Materials said that the company's current production is normal, and no production line has stopped operations.
Jiangte Electric said that some production lines of the company have indeed been halted, but the main reason is due to weakening demand and growing inventories of the company.
