China Petroleum Coke Imports Sky-Rocket in January-February 2023

SHANGHAI, Mar 31 (SMM) – According to customs data, China imported 1.699 million mt of petroleum coke in January, an increase of 39.32% month-on-month and 102.79% year-on-year; in February, China imported 1.54 million mt of petroleum coke, a decrease of 9.44% month-on-month but an increase of 134.92% year-on-year. From January to February, China's cumulative import of petroleum coke reached 3.24 million mt, a year-on-year increase of 116.89%.
