South Korea's Semiconductor Output Down 17.1% in Feb

South Korea's semiconductor output fell 17.1% in February from the previous month, the sharpest decline in more than 14 years

South Korea's semiconductor output fell 17.1% in February from the previous month, the sharpest decline in more than 14 years, according to data released by Statistics Korea on Friday.  And the output dipped 41.8% compared with the same period last year. A person from Statistics Korea said that since the second half of last year, the global demand for memory chips has weakened, and thus the output of semiconductors has declined recently.
