JPMorgan Sees Base Metals Prices Falling in Q2 and Sustained Recovery in 2024

“In our forecast for base metals price this year, we have factored in a mild recession in the US later this year and a stronger growth environment in China in 2023,” an analyst at JPMorgan said.

While we expect base metals prices to decline in the quarter ahead, we do not expect a sharp downward correction and we still forecast a more sustained recovery in 2024."
