SHANGHAI, Mar 27 (SMM) - The average operating rate of key producers was 75.28% last week, a dip of 0.08 percentage point from the previous week. The surge in orders two weeks ago was more due to the sharp drop in copper prices than the increase in actual end-user demand. New orders were limited last week.
With the rebound of copper prices at the end of the week, the reduction of downstream orders was also more obvious.
