SMM Daily Comments (Mar 27): Base Metals Prices Gained across the Board, Precious Metals down

SHANGHAI, Mar 27 (SMM) - Today, the US dollar index fluctuated slightly, and crude oil futures rose slightly.

As of 15:05 CST, the US dollar index fell 0.19%, and WTI crude oil and Brent crude oil rose by more than 1%.

As of the closing of the intraday session, SHFE tin increased 3.56%, SHFE aluminium, lead, zinc, and nickel advanced about 0.5%, and SHFE copper rose 0.19%. Stainless steel fell 0.39%, iron ore rose more than 2% and coke rose 0.87%. Rebar and coking coal gained 0.49%, and hot-rolled coil climbed 0.02%.

SHFE gold dropped 0.39%; SHFE silver fell 0.06%.
