Operating Rates of Primary Lead Smelters across Three Major Provinces in China Rose

SHANGHAI, Mar 27 (SMM) – The average operating rate of primary lead smelters across three major provinces is as below.

According to SMM research, the average operating rate of primary lead smelters across three major provinces stood at 55.88% last week, up 0.43 percentage point from a week ago.

Henan: The average operating rate rose slightly. On the one hand, some smelters returned to normal production after completing maintenance. On the other hand, two smelters saw their daily production drop marginally due to raw material shortages.

Hunan: The average operating was flat. One smelter restarted its crude lead capacity, with refined lead output to be yielded in April.

Yunnan: Smelters maintained stable operations.
